Thrust plates for 2-7 engines

Is there a mod that has thrust plates so I can mount 3-4-5-6... engines on?

Only goes up to 4 as far as I can tell, really need 5/6. Will check out the latest version.

4 is the max.

@NecroBones has some adapters that go up to 6/7, but I'm not certain if it's Modular Rocket Systems or Space-Y... or both.

Adapters can be made with higher numbers, but the stock ones only go up to 4-way. I have some in SpaceY that are somewhat complex. For instance, there's a thrust plate with 8x 1.25m surrounding a single 2.5m attachment, on a 5m plate. There's also one that has 7x 1.25m (one in the center, surrounded by 6 more) on a 3.75m plate. It also has one that's 5x 1.25m on a 3.75m plate.

Procedural Fairings has Thrust Plates with up to 16? attachment nodes which are procedural.

Ah, they are in Structural. They look like a small white disk.

Yay, found it! hah, never even noticed it...  It kind of works, but the nodes don't fine rotate cw/ccw, so it looks awkward on the engine mounts I have. Will check Necro's adapters as well.

Nope. That means texture reassignment is failing. Check out the troubleshooting in the OP for the SpaceY thread.

 

EDIT: Also, did you install SpaceY Expanded without SpaceY Lifters? Or skip including ModuleManager (a required dependency)?

Heh, cool. Yep, it's usually something simple like that.

 

EDIT: I'm making it more obvious on the SpaceY Expanded thread that Lifters is required.

Maybe this is not what you're looking for, but... Have you tried Editor Extensions? It lets you surface mount anything, including all engines. And it lets you choose whatever symmetry you want. I use it to make crazy number engine clusters all the time.

You can also do the stock workaround of attaching the structural girder to the surface and mounting the engine to it. Then use the offset tool to clip the engine into what ever your attaching it to.

Also FASA has some larger 4, 5, and 8 way attachment plates for engines.
