So I am having some strange problems with Environmental Visual Enhancements. The daytime clouds only appear on one side of Kerbin and the other side nighttime clouds, regardless of whether it is daytime or nighttime (basically, half of the clouds appear black, the other half appears white). The side that has the white clouds is determined by the direction I last looked at Kerbin in the map view. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I think I have seen this happen to other people, but I can't seem to find anyone who has actually solved the problem. Thank you in advance.

Yes I have. I have had no luck looking at the mod thread. Do you know of any other mods that add clouds to Kerbin and other visual effects? If I could find one, I could just use that instead of EVE.

Hello, I think you were referring to my thread.

I and another couple of people posted screenshots and logs in the EVE thread, but the author doesn't seem interested. Makes me think it's a different problem.

I clean reinstalled KSP yesterday. When I installed the graphics mods, I added EVE, TextureReplacer etc, but not Astronomers Visual Pack which I was using before, and loaded the game. Clouds were fine. Then I added Stock Visual Enhancements, only half clouds again.
I am using Linux so also 64bit, maybe that's why the problem is being ignored.

SVE and KSPRC bring their "snapshot" of Eve with it.

U are NOT supposed to install Eve manually beside those packages unless u know what u r doing....
for further support u might add at least logs & screens of a clen gamedata folder.

Edit: im running a SVE/KSPRC mixup running very well... next to 40 other mods

I've also tried deleting all visual mods and installing only the SVE or KSRPC.  Again, only one hemisphere has clouds.  It would help if you clarified what you are running exactly?  Since the common denominator seems to be 64-bit.  Complete words would also improve readability.

What would screens of a "clen" gamedata folder achieve?  Logs have already been posted - until we find someone qualified and willing to actually look at them, there is no point posting logs again and again.

According to CKAN I'm running 64 mods, plus a couple that aren't on CKAN.  Not sure what this is supposed to signify, but only one of them is causing a slight problem.

I have used Eve in the past with astronomers visual pack and installed. I do kind of know what I am doing (I was at least able to remove lightning and citylights in those older versions) In the new version of EVE I have made no changes to mod to see if it works. The Clouds are black (sometimes during day too) and kerbins cloudlayer does not cover the whole planet. I am running windows 7 and the 'normal' ksp.exe (which is 32 bit).

Hi all,

I have the same problem : cloud only on half the planet, exact same thing as the screenshot above.

Also running a W7 64 bits.

Hey guys! After much searching,  I have finally found a decent solution! Download the mod "Kerbal Weather Systems." The mod is for .90, but it is compatible with 1.0.5, although I'm not sure the same will be said when 1.1 comes out. You will have to deal with some extra "features" that you may or may not like, but it still works very well for me. If you don't want the extra "features" just don't download Ferram Aerospace, and that should solve it. The textures for the clouds and such are basically the same as EVE. Hopefully you guys will have the same luck!
