[STOCK]Tiny rocket challenge (Continuation for 1.1)

Make a rocket from tiny parts(0.625m) and send somwhere.(you can use command pods, Heatshields any size)

Easy mode: get sub-orbital or orbital flight

Medium mode: go to any planet/moon

Hard mode: go to any planet/moon and get back

HARDCORE Mode: send Jeb, Bill, Bob to any planet/moon(Not mun or minmus) and return him without refuel

All three of them or just one?

Also - check the challenge setting guide sticky and add a few more details as suggested there. Particularly you need to show your attempt.

Each modular girder segment has 20 sepratrons, so 180 sepratrons. 24 of the small orange surface attach engines, and 19 spark engines.

May need a better definition of "tiny parts" as there are no 0.625m command pods, so there's no way to get your Kerbals onto the rocket unless you use chairs and have them standing around beforehand.

on that topic just engine's 0.625m, on mine all rocket from 0.625m parts

I believe my "Teeny" still holds the record for smallest rocket to orbit: 0.86 tonnes.

So any size capsule?

If so, then that's kinda handy because I can get a Kerbal into space on a command seat but getting them through re-entry is proving tricky.

Here's a quick jaunt to Minmus and back. There's actually quite a bit of dV by Kerbin orbit so Ike looks quite do-able.

OK did a hard mode land and return to the Mun with a resurrected Jeb. Editing the vid right now. There was much excitement, especially with running out of delta-V in the lander for rendezvous. Yay jetpacks! Edit: Re-read the rules - apparently this was HARDCORE mode. So that's good.

In the Kerbin's Age of Pioneers pack there are several.

Mods used:

Tantares LV for the verniers

Taerobee for the fuel tanks

RLA Stockalike for the first stage engine

SXT (I think) for the second stage engine

Stock, Taerobee, USI sounding rockets and DMagic for the payload.

Enjoy.

I shall supply you with one from 1.0.5 soon. (Sorry about the uncrewed-ness.)

Adding stuff

Made it to the Mun and Minimus and back with this 8.8 ton entry

I have TAC life support so I had to hack it and give my self 70 days of supplies on EVA which messed up my electrice but with 6 panels the ion has way more then enough juice.

Made it back to kerbin with 56 dv left
