I thought they fixed that scene change crashing

Also... are you running any mods?  Which ones?  For example, I've noticed that RemoteTech is quite crash-prone, and the crashes seem to happen most often on scene changes.

Just making sure of credit where credit's due-- unless you're running a plain-vanilla stock game, it can be hard to tell for sure that it's actually Squad's fault.

In pure stock installs (and even stock + visual enhancements like scatterer) I've found 1.0.5 to be very stable.  Stability with mods is quite variable (totally depends on which mods ya got).

I've recently had to take RemoteTech out because I was getting very frequent crashes on scene changes.  Things do seem more stable without it, which is a great pity because it really is one of my fav mods.

Memory issues, 32bit KSP can't handle more than ~3.7GB, can't be fixed unless KSP is ported to Unity 64bit. Which should happen in 1.1.

On Windows, that cap is 3.5 GB, because Windows reserves the upper 512 MB for some addresses.

On Linux, the cap is 4 GB. Linux maps addresses differently.

Since OSX is essentially Unix, the cap is also 4 GB.
