Hello! I am new to these forums, and decided to post a thread to start off my "career" in the KSP Forum. Any tips or advice, either on KSP or on the forums themselves is totally welcome, and would be appreciated. Some questions I do have, though, about the forums are these:

1) How do you get rank (e.g., newbie, etc.)?

2) How do you get the "badges" that people have below their posts?

3) (Inspired from Kerbfleet Odyssey ) How do you get a spaceplane inside a cargo bay?

Hello spacebrick3 and welcome to the forum!

As far as pointers and tips on the forum you should probably be aware of the Community Guidelines and of the Good Conduct Guide.

The forum software is still fairly new to all the users so there's an excellent thread about the forum software chock full of useful info.

1) The default title above your avatar is related to your reputation, I believe.  The text can be set to whatever you want.

2) The badges are simply images that can be copied from a post and saved on your local machine as a picture file, then uploaded into your sig from that file.

3) The Intrepid is put together from multiple cargo bays.  Fitting a spaceplane of any kind into a single stock cargo bay is a large engineering challenge.  Even with the smallest wings on a size 1 fuselage are too wide for the standard bay.  Options such as clipping the wings into the fuselage so they don't stick out as much might work.

And, finally, here's a replike for taking inspiration from Kerbfleet (I'm Kerbfleet's biggest fan).

I have some minor corrections/additions to what @Starhawk said: the default title is related to the number of posts total on the forums. Posts in The Lounge and Forum Games do not count. The dots below your title are related to the relative number of posts on the forum to other people. The badges can also be copied and pasted directly from your browser.

As for putting a a ship in a bay, you'd need to either create a massive bay (like the K.S.S Intrepid's) or make a very small ship. If you want help on that, I suggest PMing Kuzzter for help. He used some mods for it, too.
