So I was wondering if the A.I. pilot could fly a VTOL.

I was amazed it could fly and land easily with the vtol engine alone ! :o:cool:

Did anybody else try this ?

Edit, I had to switch the engines manualy, AI pilot can't do that.

I wish you could set a engine to Main or VTOL setting and then the AI will recognise the engines as two different types and will use the VTOL ones for takeoff, slow and/or stationary flight.

Maybe @BahamutoD will add this later on

Fingers crossed.

The one from BD armory.

The OP really should have mentioned this. Assuming everyone uses/is familiar with the same mods as you is a little silly.

Thank you.  I might have to take a look at that

I don't know about BD's AI system, because I use kOS Scripting System instead, which would be a better choice for this IMHO.

however, if the BD AI system is capable of staging, try setting up the toggles on the "stage" action group.

Did you write this kOS script yourself?

Maybe that is actually functionality for helicopters? Never considered BDA would have that already. Amazing mod!

I can't wait to try out a helicopter battle using KAX
