Start up stuck on Module Manager

Recommended Posts

So I start up my game, all is loading fine, until it loads module manager. There is no path directory, but just Module Manager in the middle. I had Karbonite and KW Rocketry installed, and at the time I thought that was the problem. But apparently it's not! I tried to remove the mods out of my folder, still no luck. It just still loads Module Manager! I use ModuleManager2.6.18.dll, Is there anything else I need to have or use? Please help me!

Usually problems with module manager getting stuck during loading is caused by multiple instances of MM trying to run at the same time.

Double check your Game Data folder and make sure that you only have one Module Manager, and that it's the most recent version.

Be sure you look really closely, sometimes mods that depend on MM to work will include it with the mod, so there could be an extra one hiding somewhere.

Edit: Just got schooled, all of the above is wrong (sorry @sarbian!). Bottom part is still true, though.

Beyond that, we'll need to see a full list of your mods and your output_log.txt file.

Another thing I've seen, the thing listed on the screen is the last thing that successfully loaded. So, the problem may not be with ModuleManager at all, but with the NEXT thing that was supposed to happen afterward.

Like FMM said, the Output_log.txt will list what it was trying to load and hopefully at least hint at what went wrong.

Ok. It's not that, because I found other ModuleManagers, deleted them, but got the same answer. It's definitely not that FullMetalMachinist. Also, I use KW Rocketry for 0.25, and Karbonite-master for 0.25.

Can you people stop spreading misinformation. Multiple version of MM works fine beside a graphical glitch where messages overlaps.

MM was specifically coded to work with multiple version present. This is why the dll have version number in their names.

Ok FMM, I have fixed the problem. It was, like you said, an error is what came after MM. It was an error with some mods I had, so thank you for the support!
