first, i would like to give all the credit for the original idea to KmMango, who's thread was a success, faded, had a halfhearted comeback, then promptly died. 

 

 

This is the place to share with the world any stock craft that is armed with weapons that spit in BD armorys face and tell it that its overrated! There are no rules here, just creativity. tanks, SPG's ICBM's fighters, attack aircraft, bombers, naval craft, even armed space craft, lets see what you can do with only stock parts!

here is the beginning of my air force with my 3 armed aircraft. The smallest one is nemisis, my escort dogfighter. it carries 4 unguided missiles and 2 machine guns. The biplane is Hyperon, my attack bomber\heavy fighter that has 12 unguided missiles and 1 unguided bomb. The one that resembles a rectangle with a hole in the middle is Demeter, my heavy bomber that is loaded with 12 unguided bombs, 2 guided bombs, and 3 guided missiles.

I had at one time an ICBM capable of hitting pretty much anywhere on Kerbin from the KSC launchpad, but I don't remember what I did with it...If I can find it I'll post pictures. The payload was a BDArmory small HE warhead, but I can easily replace that with something stock. It also had a kOS KAL9000 unit on it that was to be used to run guidance scripts, but that is also non-essential.

With weapons on planes, I don't bother. I just make a super cheap drone and crash it into the target. I have some biiiiiiig missiles that can go as far as Duna with no refueling. Getting hit by one is about as bad as getting hit by a small refueling station. For fighters, I just go up to the target plane and drop a claw pod with ore tanks on the wing or something. Most of my Kerbin military is orbital bombing stations. It's raining orange tanks all the time at the ksc 2. 

My Dres military... Well, I would expect people would be logical enough to stay away from Dres. Those that aren't should expect a whole lot of RT-5's and asteroids within about 20 minutes of entering the Soi.

Also, NEVER land at the island airport, because that's where I test icbms and stuff. Back in 1.0.5 I had to build a bulldozer to clean the debris up!

And that was a favorite vacation spot of mine, too...

 

Using entirely stock parts, I had two special attack craft.

For me, I made a 2-in-1 plane, %80 of it belonging to plane 2, while plane 1 was where the pilot controlled it. I could just decouple the small command plane from the larger plane and let it take out the largest structure, or use plane two as simply a giant flying fuel tank for extended flights.

 

Then there was a fighter type. Added weapons to it from BD Armory later, but my reason for bringing this one up was due to the structure. Used those steel I-beams to for holding the wings. That thing could crash into a structure and take it down, though that does not mean it was good enough to just fly away. The cockpit actually had a pretty good chance of survival, but that was probably due in part to its average flight speed being 140-170 m/s, along with the steel structure of it. I'll have to post the file or pics eventually..
