To be clear, I'm not trying to "hate on Squad". I was just stating I'm actually at the point now where I can't continue my career game without deleting things I really want to keep (like crewed craft and active missions). I know they are making FT work hard on resolving the many issues with this port but in just at the point where I can't keep playing until they update the game.

Hey all, back to the "workaround" again here.

For those of you that get stuck early, are any of you using "Stock Ships" or what theyr called. I'm not sure if these can max you out earlier, but worth a try atleast. (You Can turn em off in settings in KSC "Costumise" or sumthing, button on the bottom i think.) Dont need to start a New Career.

I've turned that option off in my career, but you don't have a choice in sandbox mode...which is where the bug was first noticed. Even with them disabled, the game still locks up/crashes.

Would there be any reason to believe that increasing my PS4 hard drive from the current almost full 500gb to a new 2Tb would help this freezing/crashing issue?  I'm going to do it anyway as I have about 100gb free, but was wondering if I should do it sooner rather than later.

I've been in career mode twice and had it crash and the saves I had were corrupted and I lost a weeks work of progress each time.

I only found this forum after deciding not to play it anymore. No reason to invest anymore time until they fix. I didn't ask for a refund because my son likes playing it and I love doing it with him but it's been collecting dust for a month because I don't see any reason to start another career until they fix.

They really should take the people seriously who are threatening to ask for a refund. I might be one pretty soon.

They have been working to get this all fixed and have gone through more than 20 builds with the devs who did the port. The Xbox update is supposed to go into certification this week. No date on PS4 had been announced.

That's too bad. I also haven't been able to play in over a month. I don't think you will have much luck getting a refund though. Microsoft wouldn't give me a refund after asking twice. It looks like we are stuck waiting for a fix. People asking for refunds hasn't seemed to matter at all.
