Stupid idea required

hai all,

so i have a youtube channel that is about ksp stuff. for somewhat reasons, i kinda ran out of stupid ideas. if i think your idea is possible and i can do it, i will make a video on it and give some credits to you.

plz help meee!!

Land/splashdown a crewed vehicle on Laythe. The catch: the only thing you are allowed to use to slow your descent is any number of 10m inflatable heat shields. The more massive the thing you land, the more impressive it will be if you can pull it off. I'm not discouraging lithobraking here but parts containing kerbals should not be destroyed.

As an aside, I have some rather large (several hundred tonnes) interplanetary transport vehicles that should in theory be able to do this in an emergency once the design is perfected whilst keeping the crew alive (no guarantees on the rest of the vessel without firing the engines though), and from my limited amount of testing I know it is definitely doable.

Build a house, just a regular house, with furniture and stuff, no rockets. Have a Kerbal in there and have him go about some day-to-day admin, maybe catch some breakfast.

An orbital tether on Gilly should be just barely possible in the game engine. (50km physics bubble and a 46km stationary orbit.) You couldn't launch ships with it, (or could you) but you certainly use it for orbital refuelling.
