Technically, the first 2 is "Heavy tankette" (for the lack of better word) and the last one is "Walker" (I consider that since it's arms is just weapon hardpoints)

A continuation of my ongoing effort to do ‼terrible things‼ to planets:

(this one might strike… a little close to home)

Answering the hard questions, like "what would a nanorobotically equipped spacecraft actually look like?"

On a more conventionally militaristic tangent:

A lightweight laser turret, to be fitted on corvettes and the like. Aperture might be a little small, but it'll do for point defense. The whole base is intended to rotate for azimuth and the struts under the thing would be driven on screws or hydraulic rams, if I could be bothered to model them.

A belt-fed railgun autoloader. Because regular autoloaders aren't awesome enough. The drive gears feature small flanges to capture the belt so that the slug can be forced out of it without issue.

For those who prefer using melee:

A sheath concept which would allow for very short draw movements. A backer plate would probably be necessary to align the sword. Additionally, the sheath does not touch the cutting edge of the sword, which may be advantageous for e.g. wear reasons.

Returning to paper drawings, we have a species design.

Meet the flurian, a gengineered organism designed as a space resort maintainer. More details (and there are more) here.

And another creature, a little less alien:

This reptilian beast is about the size of a large dog. It's unclear whether it evolved naturally or is gengineered, and it is known to me only as a "drakedog." Features heavily in an RPG I'm playing. Though it cannot fly, it can use its flight webs to glide in a half-gee.

Nah, but for real, it's all about the time you've put in learning and the consistency of your work. I guarantee that if you started studying drawing ＨＡＲＤ - you'd take me over in less than a year.

TTGL is great fun and way less dark. But I wouldn't call it a space mecha anime. Much of the action is on Earth without any spaceflight. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome. But...

In UC Gundam, the majority of humans live in space. Not even on Mars or the Moon, but in rotating space stations. The technology is far more realistic, although the propulsion tech is pretty much impossible... like in most sci-fi.

Drawings, and direct responses to those drawings, are what this thread's about.  Let's see if we can sort of veer gently back onto the rails, shall we?
