Every Mod that includes clouds in atmosphere for Kerbin do not work for me!

Recommended Posts

I have tried every mod that has included clouds. I am fine if they add cool atmospheres, but they say that add clouds. Whenever i install it to kip and run it, it does not/only displays the modded atmosphere without any clouds and/or shadows. is this a bug? :huh: Is it something with the system i am running tsp  on? Does it need other mods?

I really hope i can figure out how to get the "Floating White Puffy Cotton Candy" (project FWPCC [you can call THOSE clouds!] ) in tsp soon. ;.;

Ah, the "kip and tsp" you may see is KSP; sorry for my "auto-correct"! :wink:

Hey, welcome at forum.
Since you're new at the forum, I would like to introduce you to the forum guidelines for getting help. :)
I think this thread belong to the Technical Support (PC, modded installs) , but that's up to the moderators, they will change it when needed.

I'm quitte sure you didn't install the mod right or forgot some dependence mods.
If you're new to modding, I would suggest you to use CKAN. CKAN didn't fail me many times in my KSP career and is quick and easy.

Also, when installing a mod manually, always check the readme and description and always check if you have the right version, most mods for ksp 1.2.1 aren't playable for 1.1.3 etc...

A normal install (so without CKAN) goes as follows:
- you download the modfile (mostly zipfiles) into a folder you created for savekeeping
- you unzip the zip-file.
- you put all the files where they belong, mostly the modmaker created a Gamedata folder, in that case you just copy paste the folder to your KSP main directory. Just overwrite the Gamedata folder.

AFAIK you need module manager and texturereplacer for every mod that includes clouds.

As @Streetwind said, we could use some screenshots of your Gamedata folder, as well of the mod folder.
If you want to get your problem solved quick, please provide some more information in the future :)
