Retractable Rover Wheels

Does anyone know of a mod with rover wheels that can be retracted? Particularly very large ones, but I would be happy with them in any size. I really want to make a small plane that can drive around once it lands and the key to that is going to be rover wheels that are stowed in a low-drag form on the hull.

If not, can anyone think of an approach I can use to accomplish that using different parts?

I've use Infernal Robotics to stuff like that, worked pretty well.

Oh that makes sense. So what you put regular wheels on an assembly that extends out of a bay?

the malamute rover from roverdude has some wheels that can be retracted, and I think the caribou one as well.

Also possible: use the stock landing gear and add the motor segment from a rover wheel to it's configuration file. 5 minutes work.

Specifically the Caribou rover mod. While the rover is somewhat lackluster, the retractable ruggedized wheels are awesome.
