Problem with gas giant texture

Dear people,

The tutorial @Poodmund suggest me to watch really helped but now I got another problem. I made a texture for the gas giant but there is something I'm missing. It's hard to explain so I'll just show you:

The texture has this line. I mean, it doesn't blend well. I don't know how to explain it but I'm guessing you can see it for yourself. Hopefully somebody can help me with this!

Thanks for taking a look

I disagree, gas giant textures cannot be created from PQS.

Here's what I would do:

1 open the texture in Photoshop or GIMP

2 With the rectangular selection tool, grab the left half of the image, copy it to the clipboard then press delete, and paste the copied half into a new layer.

3. Swap the positions of the left and right halves, then merge the layers down.

4. The texture issue should be obvious now. At this point you can edit it out manually.

I know you can't make gas planets from PQS I meant the other textures

I just tried to do the steps @The White Guardian told me but it still looks like this (don't look at the gradient xD): https://postimg.org/image/wo4sk2z1f/

I definitely did step 1 and 2 but I don't really know how to do/what you mean (with) step 3 in GIMP. Here is my GIMP texture file: https://uploadfiles.io/cf674

I hope you can help me with this cause I have been trying since december.

Or you can just offset (filter>other>offset) the image and fix the seam with a mixture of clone tool/blur tool. Much easier than splitting an image.

No problem! This is an issue I come across ALL the time because I edit a lot of my textures by hand and a constantly create seams. It's a bit tedious but it's very necessary to know how to fix the issue if you want to be efficient.
