Bug you cannot leave a flight if you launch a vessel. You can revert flight and recover vessel and it usually does but crashes every time. I am using the interstellar pack and Ground construction at the same time so I don't know if its your mod but the crash report is giving a lot of errors I think are related to your mod.

Sounds similar to what I was always experiencing when developing the mod before I started using .64 bit. I recommend using 64 bit as well.

Do the stars produce usable light?  As in, can you run solar panels off them?  I know this was an issue a long time ago when the first packs adding new stars started coming out, and I was wondering if it ever got fixed...

Expand

I believe all stars produce energy that can power solar panels. But maybe a bit TOO much energy for at least one star....

I am happy that you updated this mod to work again, only the problem is that it still has one issue that I have encountered so far,Lamancha does not have a visible atmosphere...

Expand

Don't worry, all atmospheres will be more visible and better designed in the next update!

Thanks for the update! Great mod all around, and with the recently published discovery, do you have any plans to make your Trapist-1 reasonably match the real Trappist-1?

I'm nearly finished with the new system, just trying to fix atmosphere colors and details.

In fact...http://imgur.com/a/WYz3o

That's what the people from Interstellar Extended said too, and wile it's not crashing the game just stops every once in a wile.

Lamancha seemed promising.  I got there and did a SCANSat survey... the map read from SCANsat doesn't match the appearance from orbit.  I attempted to land on what looked like from orbit to be a continent, but when I got close to the planet, it was all flat, featureless ocean.  The atmosphere provided no lift (using FAR) and my gas chromatograph showed that the atmospheric contents had also not [yet] been defined.. so it was kind of... well it seems unfinished?

I see you have an update planned for soon-ish... are you planning to add compatibility with FAR and give the atmosphere specific gas composition that can be read by KSPIE's ISRU units?  I noticed that as a problem on all of these planets... Lamancha was just weird though, the view from orbit didn't match the view from the ground or the SCANsat biome readout.

Well, that was odd...

On Sunday (when I was away at something), IA-Revived had a sudden spike in downloads, and the largest spike in the mod's history - 248 DLs in a single day! I wonder why. Maybe a new mod review...

EDIT: Oh, I also have another Trappist-1 screenshot to share!

Also, what is the planet in the photo on the main page?

Expand

It's Egeria, or HR 8832e.

Also,

VERSION 1.2.0 IS RELEASED!

Besides update version 1.1.0, this was the update I worked the longest on. The Trappist planets are likely one of, if not the, best-designed planets (appearance-wise and in gameplay) in the entire mod. I put a lot of effort into them and learned some valuable tips for the next major update, 1.3.0.

Why did I think Egeria was HR 8832d?

congrats on the release!  does this support FAR and have the numbers plugged in for atmospheric composition so that it can be used for ISRU (KSPIE's anyway) ?

Expand

Well even if the resources are not plugged in, it should be able to generate an atmospheric composition that makes sense, but I admit it isn't fully tested yet, so I would appreciate if you could report any weird or missing atmospheric compositions

will do.  The previous release of this mod definitely did NOT work correctly in this regard - tested on Theros, first and only (at that time) planet orbiting TRAPPIST-1.  The atmospheric composition ran, but came back with an empty set of results.

What do you mean by "ran"?

right click on the atmospheric analyzer, "run analysis" and it pops open a window that takes a few seconds to analyze the atmosphere.  On any of the stock planets with an atmosphere it comes back with the composition listed in percentages.  On Theros, it came back with nothing.

Wow, I just discovered this mod. It is amazing! One question: is it compatible with Outer Planets?

Expand

Should be, given that it doesn't alter the stock system. Unless of course it re-parents the stock system to a custom galactic core, in which case there's no guarantee the Outer Planets will be in the right place. I've yet to test it though.

Atmospheric Analyzer? that doesn't like a KSPI part

What it should be looking is something like this:

yes, that's the part i was referring to, sorry.  On Theros, in this mod... that window is blank except for the 'gas' and 'abundance' headings.  nothing underneath them.  Yes, there was an atmosphere present according to the pressure indicator.  Didn't work properly with FAR though either.  Was kind of bizarre.

Well what is important is that @ProtoJeb21 has given all celestial bodies a flightGlobal index, without it, you won't get any atmospheric composition! Other mods might not function properly as well.

KOLASI TRANSITS!

Much to my delight, the planet Kolasi (HR 8832 c) was recently found to be transiting Niobe (HR 8832 A). It turns out that it is rather large and dense - 1.511 times the size of Earth with a density of almost 7 g/cm^3. This will help me make the planet better in upcoming versions of IA-Revived. In fact, version 1.3.0 is going to be a statistics update, fixing some planets based on newly gathered data about them. These will include Carphos (which is able to hold a moon) and Cheimon (whose orbital period and radius have finally been pinned down).

Anyways, back to Kolasi. From this new data, I'm going to make it an unusually dense, volcanic planet well worth of its name. Kolasi is a Greek word which translates to inferno. I always thought of this world as the hottest in the system because of volcanism and greenhouse effects. It turns out this may be the case :)

Hey I was wondering if I could edit the orbits to make them farther without messing the sphere of influences because whenever I move Cervantes in hyperedit it causes all ships to only have a sphere of influence with it and not anything else

Expand

Goods news: I've made each star to have a CUSTOM sphere of influence, so that they don't have huge SOI's due to high mass and distance from Kerbol. Altering their orbits won't change SOI. Bad news: Hyperedit is known to mess up where your crafts are :(. I'm not really too sure how to fix that - maybe FlightGlobalsIndex values, but they aren't the greatest things in Kopernicus.

where can I find the flightglobalsindex values?
