MAD - Aerospace Parts (v0.6.1) KSP 1.8+

Anyone else encounter a bug where the parts from this mod take on a shiny silver texture? If so is there a known fix?

I forgot to mention this is in 1.11.2

Also a correction, its only a shiny silver(for me at least) in the parts menu of the editors, when put together in the editors and used in flight is a shiny but darker grey.A2C16D0D0106E0319201C8C542C0E04B8C3CD436

I ain't dead. Just been deployed over seas, doing a university course in coding and I've not even fired up KSP for a year. It's a thing.

The only reason for parts to be shiny is because there are configs for TexturesUnlimited. Delete that patch and they should go away.

I really want to get back to this, but it's dependent on erm, everything being easier. In the meantime, I will try and at least do a bug fix for the latest version.

Hi, love your mod!

any chance you would update CKAN version (there the most recent version is for KSP 1.3 and here is for 1.8)?

Possibly, I don't think I created the CKAN stuff. To my knowledge (as in I'm still using it) it works with the latest version, so no reason why it can't be enabled.

has anyone done a TURD patch for this mod? I know it has a TU patch built-in, but that is different.

Not to my knowledge. I had a brief look at it expecting it to be relatively easy because it uses stock textures but it wasn't that simple from what I remember.

Bummer. Hopefully someone does make a patch.

In any case, are more parts planned? Personally, I'd love seeing inline 0.9375 parts, such as an engine and intake. A spine crew cabin would also be quite nice, like the rear observer area featured on Fairey Fulmar/Firefly aircraft.
