Spectra does not have any source code since it doesn't have any coding; all it is is config files and textures. Also, Spectra doesn't need all of the dependencies to run, it only requires ModuleManager, and EVE or Scatterer or Kopernicus are needed for their respective features (Clouds, pretty atmospheres, and surface textures), but are not strictly required if you only want to use part of the mod. Additionally, Kopernicus is still not updated for 1.9, so making it a dependency would mean that Spectra would be flagged as incompatible in 1.9 Ok, but in the OP you made a list called "Dependencies" and they're not dependencies. I suggest changing that list's name.
Yoloking Mapping
Can you make Jool's clouds/texture at the poles look less pinched next update? ik this is kinda minor but any action to this is appreciated

I'm not a professional texture editor so getting rid of that is something beyond my capability, sorry

Athen
Is the zip file for spectra 1.2.5 corrupted for anyone else? I've tried re-downloading it 3 times and each it is corrupted. I even tried 1.2.4 and it also was corrupted. Even Ckan doesn't work. I am using winrar and it gives the following message every time i try to extract the files. ! D:\Desktop\Visual Mods\Spectra-1.2.5.zip: The archive is corrupt

But i have come with a way similar to planet modding which is by distorting the poles and make them look more natural. Unfortunately i can't download paint.net (because my windows 7 is broken for some reason) so i had to use Photoshop, that means i can't save it as a .dds file, i was only able to save this as a png jpg file Here is what i came up with: I can't get it to work (because don't know anything about visual mods) but this should work in my logic if you tweak something 10 hours ago, Athen said: Is the zip file for spectra 1.2.5 corrupted for anyone else? Kopernicus is not updated yet. So it won't work in KSP. So you don't need to install Kopernicus. HafCoJoe
GOOD NEWS! My save file is working again! With that, I will probably get back to streaming and updating Spectra again soon I'm hoping to do a repass on Duna, and possibly remove my kopernicus files for the time being until it is updated. @Yoloking Mapping, could I by chance use your edited Jool texture in this next release? I haven't done any testing with it yet, but if it fixes the poles I would love to add it officially. I can convert it to .dds myself too, I forgot to mention that there are certain settings you want enabled when you save to make the file more compatible/usable. Arco123
@Avera9eJoeIs there volumetric clouds? Because if there is then for me it doesn't seem to work.

Spectra indeed does include volumetric clouds. There must be something wrong in your install or in the current release. Did you install manually or via CKAN? prototype
Hi, a question if I may. If I install latest Spectra on to 1.8.1 with Kopornicus, will it work OK? I know Kop isn't supported by Spectra in 1.9.1 but is it still supported in older releases? Thanks! (I know opening my long-term save without Kopornicus results in my little rovers/bases/miners exploding...) Yes, Spectra will work with all previous versions up until when EVE/Kopernicus where first created.
HafCoJoe
Update 1.3 is live! Spectra SpaceDock The major update this time around is a revamp of Duna to give it a Scatterer config again and look a bit more similar to the release trailer. The goal was to tone down the intensity of the effects to better reflect its thin atmosphere. If you have feedback on the changes, please share! Lastly, I was made aware of an unofficial update of Kopernicus for 1.9.1. I haven't tested it yet, but if you can please if you can give it a download and let me know how things look: [Rule-violating mod link removed by moderator] Edited May 13, 2020 by Snark Rule-violating mod link removed by moderator
