XB-70A
Talking about the next Starlink launch, it appears that unit 1149 (v1.0 3-36) could reenter tomorrow, about 1.5 hours following the launch of the fifth flight. The satellite was launched on the third flight in late January, and is still orbiting at 302 x 289 km (another site claims 309 x 296 km). Any idea about? tater
At NSF there's a post that the bottom 2 rings are also complete. And he updated, lol:
RealKerbal3x
Seems like they're starting to install a roof (or something) on their level 1 VAB over in Boca. If it is a roof, it doesn't look like the building is tall enough to house a Super Heavy, but maybe they'll be stacking SN1 in there. Who gets to take the flag home. Ah. OK. Well, regardless, I'm sure nobody at Boeing is hoping for SpaceX to suffer a catastrophic accident. Raven Industries
Huh, they seem to have missed the landing. That was unexpected.
GearsNSuch
Sounds like they lost the booster. Weird how we're at a point in time where a massive rocket landing on a barge is considered normal... StrandedonEarth
Landing failed. A lot of pitching on the droneship, saw some smoke off to starboard. First fail after how many successes? Edited February 17, 2020 by StrandedonEarth
Delay
I love how we're all disappointed they didn't land their 50th time. ...when no one else even tries to recover their boosters.
Treveli
Technically they did land the booster, just not on the barge.
lajoswinkler
It didn't even crash near the barge. That cloud on the right appeared gently. Hmmm...
