Who knows how much more there is...if there even is anymore. No confirmed crew module. Just the adapters, RCS, ASAS and min SRBs confirmed so far. That crew module could have been a mod for all we know.
willitstimothy
I've been here far longer than you... I think I know fairly well how strict and "powerful" the mods here are. Don't waltz on in and start causing a ruckus for no good reason. It's irritating and quite frankly a waste of everyone's time.Fact is you dont know when its coming out. Please dont do this. It will be out when its ready. When i first joined this forum i was amazed that the devs talk to the community about there baby (game) unlike other dev teams on other games. But recently i have come to realize why they dont, Its cos of post's like that and few pages back people moaning "OMG i want it now realize it now am entitled to it" Just f**k off! really F**k off.It will be out when its ready to be out.yes i do want it now the difference is, I understand things take time. I would prefer they take there time with it so its less buggy. This update alone is like a DLC in terms of content be grateful to Squad, as they are not money grabbing wankers (looks at EA)just waitI see giants with little children standing behind them trying to emulate their every move. It seems pretty silly.@Omega500: You're on the right track, with respect to the topics you appear to be fighting against, but insulting other members of the forum - especially new ones - with partially censored profanity is not a good way to get a good reputation around here.@ All Newcomers: You all should really go look at the .15 discussion threads (http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/showthread.php/9094-KSP-0-15-Update) and look at all the junk and sorrow that was posted back then (look at the later pages). The mods didn't have the rules they have now, and the endless waves of junk posts from whining and complaining forum members was sickening. They posted phase completion date estimates back then, now they don't - and believe me the bellyaching now is nowhere near what it was that time around.Navooskilis, pls!...you are a very cruel person. Will we be able to fast forward time in the tracking station?Hey at least Nova talks to us and shows us tidbits of the game. If someone doesn't release a balloon mod, I think I'm gonna have to start making mods myself so I can make such a mod. It seems to me that balloons would solve many of the problems with launching from the surface of atmospheric planets - as well as exploring gas planets. Spadde
Yea I guess Ballons would be a pretty cool way to get above atmospehere on high density planets, sort of like a parachute but reversed
sal_vager
Topics are good things to stay on guys, they avoid things such as threads being closed, also Spadde, no, there is a rule against that even with the profanity filter.Rules Addendum: 25JUL2012 "Profanity"Usage of profanity in posting is prohibited. Normally we'll let small amounts of the words damn and hell pass, but extreme profanity will net your posts deleted and net you a nice place on the moderation teams watch list. So keep it civil, and this does of course extend to IRC and the ShoutBox.
Ekku Zakku
wow, why has nobody implemented balloons yet? Now that you mention it XD would be great for testing all kinds of stuff I'm sure lol
nhnifong
Yea I guess Ballons would be a pretty cool way to get above atmospehere on high density planets, sort of like a parachute but reversed It would be simple to make one as a parachute with reverse drag or something, but i'm thinking it would be nice to be able to to fill them (with gas from your RCS tanks or something) and release gas as you please. Spadde
Hey guys, a thing that I've always wondered. You know the thing that tells you in which part of the Atmosphere you are.Well that thing has like 4(if im not wrong) "stages" of atmosphere, is that how the in game mechanics works aswell? That when you go to a part of the atmosphere it emidietly gets thicker/thinner and stays that way until the next part of atmosphere? Or does it gradually increase/decrease in density?

Spadde
Then why isnt the "gauge" gradual :SIt should be a fix for 0.17*Fix the atmpsheric guage from part to part into gradual.
Ekku Zakku
Like most things in the game, I'm sure the gauge is also a placeholder. But I don't see why it's bad, the assumption that the atmosphere isn't gradual isn't a very good one lol.
jenskerman
You can control the ship in the IVA by clicking on the buttons? Sounds really cool, looking forward to test it...

Kosmo-not
As long as we also get a radar altimeter, then I'll be using a lot of IVA.

Although I'm sure the little ruler points or w/e would serve the same purpose, I still don't see a reason to change the atmosphere gauge at all =P
Oggula
If we assume Harv's blog post means IVA's are the current issue holding up release, does that mean the lava terrain on Moho is working now? I never thought Moho would be released for 0.17. Has there been confirmation?

Sean2323
Prepare to kerbalgasm all over your screen, for a mod maker has somehow beaten the development team to docking.I saw someone bring this up, but no one took notice. So bam.http://youtu.be/8cmNxz8P2gM I don't know how to embed videos. Sue me.Now back on topic to the point one seven update.Do you think there's a massive conspiracy around this video containing an obviously armed and fully operational docking system, in that it's actually game play from 0.17 made by a secret dev we've never heard of? I know I don't, because I'm not that crazy.
Randox
One thing I forgot about the IVA's will be flying my space planes. Really looking forward to using short range recon from IVA view, since that particular craft is an able stunt plane. Can't wait to see what trying to land on the track from the launch pad back to hanger looks like from inside the plane (if I land on the ramp on the far side from the tower, I don't lose a wing).View from the ice moon looks nice. Also going to have to look at that docking mod once 0.17 is out. don't really need it now, but I might be able to find a use for that mod (depending on exactly what it can do) once I am going further.
