Graphics i think

So I am trying to dock two orbiters in orbit, and they are approximately 6 meters away from each other but I can not see the target one. I can see the target distance box but not the actual object I am trying to dock to. This is the same for any other craft that I have in the game. I can see how far away they are but not the actual craft.

Are you sure it's 6m and not 6km?

I've been actually docked at more than 6m.  It's gotta be km as @MoarBoostersRUS said.  At 6km away, you won't see the other craft quite yet unless it's huge.  Do you have a screenshot?

1.3km away, and the ship I'm approaching is pretty big.

Never seen that before. Could you post some screenshot. I have my money on that you are reading some things out wrong.
