Stock kerbal Scientists and Construction dudes, playable

I did some digging and couldnt find this so, thought I would ask.  Did someone make a mod that allows us to use the kerbals in the yellow jumpsuits or the scientists in the white lab coat (seen on the floor of the vab or sph) playable on kerbin?  (For us who like to RP or make videos)

I don't know if it's been done, but I'm sure it's doable to an extent with texture replacer.

Thats what I was thinking, theroetically the model.mu files should be in there somewhere, just gotta figure out who can do it....

The Kerbals models and textures are stored inside Squad's assetbundles and are therefore inaccessible. If you or someone you know is an artist then they can create their own suit if you want though.

That said, SCART91 had made an IVA suit that has the kerbal wearing a lab-coat with goo splatter:

@HaArLiNsH has been teasing this for a while now, but haven't heard an update on this for a while. Really it's a shame Squad themselves never really took any time to make the astronaut helmet collar removable to help support role players, as that's really the main thing - after that it's just using a texture replacer mod that can already re-skin kerbals

Well, I've some hint on how we could replace the body of our kerbals. The problem is, as said before, they are stored inside Squad's assetbundles, so we need to find a way to save them somehow while the game is loaded. 

But, I noticed that when you replace the default head texture in TRR, we affect the kerbals walking in the rocket building hangar (the civils workers and scientist). It means that we maybe could save their mesh and try to replace our kerbal's mesh with. 

I think the models are stored in the same assetbundle that is loaded when we are in the space center.

@HaArLiNsH Well, that's a bit beyond me, But if you can lead me to some resources on how to hook game assets when they are loaded, I am down for some exploring!  Never had a problem learning something new.
