Hello Everybody

Hello! I’m a Steam player of KSP with 150hrs on the game, but only has 3 probes on the mun, 40 orbiting kerbin and 15 orbiting the mun. I need advice on how to get to Minmus. Btw, I don’t use the “targeting the [enter celestial body here] and doing the vectoring rubbish” I just plan a manoeuvre, do it and go there. Also, i’m Building a pc right now. (First time) the cooler issues I had have been fixed.

*forum questions start*

how on kerbin do you add pictures?

Hope you can hel- wait. I need to talk about myself. I live somewhere and I have a Discord (in profile). Player since 1.1. Stopped playing a while ago when my PC couldn’t handle it. Aviation, Cars, Spaceflight and astronomy fan. Otherwise it’s classified.

hope you can help,

RS. (Not RSS)

Greetings and welcome to the forum, @RocketSimplicity.

To add pictures you need to upload them to a hosting site (I use imgur but others work) and post the direct link.  The forum software should recognize it as an image and embed it for you.

You could look into adaptors that might solve your fan problem but I would personally buy an uprated fan that suits your CPU/Motherboard.

Welcome to the forums!

To go to Minmus is a little tricky as to the Mun because of inclination. For the first attempt get a lill more fuel with you. Circularise around Kerbin and burn in/out radial till your pe is on DE or AE, plan your maneuver at  this point and with some playings on prograde/retrograde and on normal/antinormal you will get a nice encounter. The prograde trick as Mun shows over the horizont of Kerbin don't works here.

Have a good time and much of fun

Happy Kabooms

Landing there is easier than the Mun

Ehh... depends?

You definitely want to design your landers differently.  It's easy to get a tall thin craft down on the Mun.  Minmus' gravity is so low, that it's very easy to bounce on contact.  If it's a tall and thin craft, it'd be very easy to tip over.

For Minmus you want to build short and wide.  Get the landing legs as far out as possible.
