Alien Mod

I think there should be a mod that adds living creatures or aliens to other planets and they would either run away from you or give you items through KIS or whatever and also make bases and build rockets for you! This would be really complicated but I think it is very interesting. P.S, my friend gave me this idea, credits to him!

I mean.... cool idea. But wrong subforum.

Also, this would mean coding AI for these creatures and some sort of interaction dialogue. Also, why would they make bases/rockets for you? That kinda defeats the point of the game, turning it more into I think an RPG. Cool if you want, but probably not for everyone and this would kinda invovle probably doing a decent amount of base coding or something.

The coding would be difficult, but I will try to figure it out.

Well, I agree, with you, so I would take that out and just keep the interactions.

maybe just some skeletons on duna or tiny purple things in the same thing mod makers use to add in rocks and trees

There are tons of great resources in the Dev forum and subforms. Also lots of youtube videos to get you started

Do you have any idea how many modders started with "I don't even know how to code a plugin"?

There are MANY MANY MANY modders who started with a great idea and luckily decided "I can learn this".
