Triop
Finally the buggy ran out of juice, day 4 was a big succes, we drove a lot of km's and we kept the buggy in one piece. Checkpoint 7 30 minutes before day 5, better get some sleep. TBC

She is on her way back to the KFC KSC, sort of.... I knew we didn't had enough fuel . . . So now she's stuck in the middle of nowhere. But no worries, I'll arrange a tanker plane to bring some juice... Coming up: Day 5. TBC

Jeb took out Buggy 1, which didn't have enough...solar panels? So Val brought out Buggy 2 and they swapped. And I see that you've renamed Buggy 2 as "Samurai" because of how its extra solar panels look. Anyhoo, looking forward to what happens next. Triop
Refueling time. I don't mind having to do this, I'm glad I can do something else then driving all day. Full tank and ready to go: No time is lost cause Jeb is still on the dark side of Kerbin waiting for sunrise. Next up will be flying these 2 planes home. Triop
So we got Val back without a problem: Our tanker was not so lucky, lost her engine on a bump while taking off... The tanker is lost, but now we have to pick up Tangard . . . Jeb is still in the dark, so we have lots of time. We are sending Val, she knows the way... Now imagin you break your rover's solar panels! You sir, are giving me nightmares . . . It would not be the end if Jeb would survive a crash. I allowed myself in the rules to fly in a new buggy if that would happen. But I hope that doesn't happen, it would be so cool if I can take this piece of crap to the Southpole, I'm kinda attached to it . . . So is Jeb, he's been in his cockpit for 5 days now I bet his socks will smell . . . Anyway, we are drivin 'n charging now as we speak. I'll leave you for now with some information. Jacke
I'm still waiting for a like resupply.... This is so cool. Now I'm wondering if it can be done faster.... Rocket buggy with in-motion refueling? Nuclear buggy?

Nuclear buggy? Please wait, I will turn this into a challenge as soon™ as I finish. Yes it can be done faster, I'm driving an electric brick. Keep in mind that a challenge like this needs a lot of dedication. The only reason I'm still driving is the support I get on this thread. Without it I would have stopped hours ago, you have to be mad to do this.
Triop
We are sending Jeb to the beach, he needs to wash up after 5 days in the cockpit. We need a next waypoint anyway. Triop
Climbing back into the buggy after placing Checkpoint 9 then this happened . . . I still have one solar panel left, I've decided to continue without asking for a replacement . . . I'm to attached to the Samurai, I'll drag this baby to the Southpole if I have to... Now if you will excuse me, I'll be in a corner crying for the next hours . . . Edited September 6, 2018 by Triop
