Can't Update KSP

Hi, I have a problem in the Kerbal Space Program Launcher,. it says that my installed version is 2335, and it says that the most recent version is 2401, but the "Update" button is grayed out and I can't click it. How do I update?

Don't use the launcher. Run ksp yourself and update it from Steam or the store, or where you bought it.

If you want to run it, go to the actual KSP folder, and run KSP.exe

If you purchased it through Steam, just run it from there. The KSP launcher is broken and nobody uses it

The problem is is that I want the latest version of KSP. I need it in order for a mod to work. I have no mods installed yet. If I go to the KSP store, it doesn't give me an option to download any specific version, only to download the game itself.

There is an option on the store screen to download older versions.   The selection is limited though, mainly to the most stable releases of each version.

And that version is the latest version. So where's the problem?
