Mugging happen every day though. Private individuals running afoul of a EULA is an extremely rare event. And even then I personally have never heard of it happening outside of instances of large scale piracy.

Maybe Im wrong but IMO, people get way too overexcited about EULA matters.

There was one odd EULA on Steam that allowed the representatives of the publisher to inspect the location the game is being played in, and the device it’s being played on, at any moment in time without prior warning.

Just keep in mind that no EULA is above the local law, so most cases of these unconventional EULA texts are not enforceable.

On top of that, at least once I have heard of a judge throwing out a EULA case based solely on the length of the agreement and how nobody could be expected to fully read & digest it.

I only condone revolution if the benefits outweigh the costs and risk of jail time is less than 60 percent. Like getting rid of the Brits, or getting rid of a cash grab EULA.
