A Kerbal's Guide to our solar system

I have found some historical records about Juturn!

Juturn gained its Gas Planet status when the super advanced mining organization, Pollux Industries, discovered that Juturn, then a Terrestrial planet, was entirely composed of the rare mineral, Unobtainium. Pollux Industries thus began to mine on the planet\'s surface. After a mere 3 months, Juturn had reduced in size to half the original, and a thick layer of pollutant smog had gathered within the atmosphere, due to the exhaust from the Pollux mining machines. After another 2 months, Pollux Industries reach Juturn\'s Handwavium core, and carted it back to Kerbin. The smogs covering Juturn, now kilometers thick and impossible to see through, compressed, and formed a much smaller planet, classed 'Gaseous' some time later. While this new planet was less than half the size of the original planet, it became the Juturn we know today.

Well, me and Harv worked out the size of the sun and kerbin\'s semimajor axis. The sun is 0.01x the mass of earth\'s sun, with a radius of 200,000 km

Kerbin orbits at a distance of 5 million km away, with an orbital period of roughly one month.

The Mun orbits kerbin over a period of 48 hours, at a distance of 13,000 km.

We have new data from Harv:

Mass: 1.756567e+28

Radius: 6.54e+07m

Gravity at surface: 27.94G

Distance from Kerbin: 13,559,014,750m

That way when the Kerbals crash and have ouchies, they just have to step outside for antiseptic.

Actually, as a halogen an iodine atmosphere would probably be ridiculously reactive -- both on its own and as hydrogen iodide, which is highly acidic. Anyone wonder what the Kerbal skeletal system looks like?

Kerbals don\'t have ouchies. It\'s either life or death.
