Now now! Where can I find that docking claw? I've been using the landing-leg method without success and am desperate for a viable solution to my docking needs!

EDIT: Or is is the hinges from Damned robotics?

yes I have use damned robotics hinges and mech jeb for launch the vehicule on the same orbit of the other vehicule

lol I have tried this a million times with landing legs, the claws, the hinges and that androgynous clip thing and I have never been able to get it to work properly.... the ships usually spin out of control or get crushed and ripped apart. its amazing how you actually got this to work

This is the closest I could get. And closer and Predator Station would have needed Dynasat to keep in position.

Predator is a big-ass station. I used a large rendezvous module, so I'm not surprised I couldn't quite latch on. So much lag.

Perfect timing for this thread, I just made my first successful space station docking and crew transfer, using stock parts and MechJeb.

KSS 4, meet CTV-1. Danrey replaced Calrick on the station, and Calrick is now safely back in the middle of a vast ocean on Kerbin.

hmmm, i find it really hard to dock in a low orbit, i do all my docking work out in geo-stat orbit

Yea its hard to dock at a low orbit because both the craft move a lot more when your not controling it. I find that the easiest docking is anywhere above 200km

Locks on nice and snub but when I reload the game they're both drifting separated.

I did mine using mechjeb, novapunch, and damned robotics

The big problem I had was that the target vessel was rotating when the rendezvous occurred.

It looks like a decoupler and is in the same category but is called Warp Clamp, I'll be making a model at some point, I've only spent a few hours on it so far.

This doesn't seem to work under warp, the vessels drifted away then snapped back when warp ended.

Edit: I should mention I used the Escape Pod mod, it might have been caused by some interaction there.
