Switch Vessel

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the forums.

I'm brain farting here, but I'm 98% sure it's [ and ] to switch vessels  (if not it's < >).    Alternatively, you could go to the map mode, and click on the vessel you want to switch to and choose "Switch to", but this becomes very difficult at close ranges.

Also, moving to Gameplay Questions.

Guys, im on campain mode misson to rescue some kerbal in orbit and i reach that vessel. But i don't know keynote to switch that kerbal vessel....

As others have said, it's [ and ] to switch vessels.  I add for @Gargamel's benefit that you don't want to use < and >, because those control time warp.  Using them when you're close to your target will cause time to speed up, and then you'll see your carefully-planned rendezvous fall apart as you zoom past.

Hehehe yeah... later I was visualizing a game in my head and I had to mentally switch vessels without looking at the keyboard, just let the imaginary muscle memory do the work to figure out what buttons I'm hitting.

don't listen to this guy...

if you press ">>>" (3x) @~2km interception range then, not only will you perform an epic rendesvouz you actually also get an easter egg (he obviously just wants to keep the eggs for himself.).

Gargamel is a moderator... he obviously knows what he is talking about.

Thanks for recognizing that!   Especially when I correctly admitted my mistake .... 6..... weeks..... ago......

But just to clarify, as we don't want what we would assume to be a joke to mislead a new comer, as @Zhetaan stated, [ and ] are the correct buttons for vessel switching, < and > are time warp.

What's the easter egg? O.o

it would be VERY [immature] to spoil the suprise for people; especially as alot of people don't know about it, nor infact know about the easter eggs within the game.

what i will tell you though....; is another one can be found, and similarly with the ">>>" trick *mentioned above, and on hard difficulty with quick save disabled (*i forgot this bit); when you are FAR out in space and "warping to next manuever" (but IMPORTANT: you have to be pretty darned close to the upcoming maneuver node) ">>>" (3x), then you can thank me later.

(clue; it may OR may not have something to do with being a new shiny spaceship part)

Well, spoiler tags exist...

I'll just go check it out on the wiki

https://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/List_of_easter_eggs

...even kerbalspacewiki doesn't have it included, it is THAT rare (maybe it was only included as of 1.7 or something ? or it is called something different due to the tangible reward (as opposed to graphical representation) or something ?? ( - who knows ?.)

Well if it's indeed so rare and isn't on the wiki, you could always put it on there
