My KSP experience so far.

First thing I have to say: YouTube is a wonderful thing. If it wasn't for YouTube, I wouldn't have found this game. After watching a few videos about KSP i decided i'll try it out. I got the demo and played it for about a week. Then (after nagging my parents constantly), i finally got the full version. I set a goal to reach the Mun. I got there 3 times but lost the return part of all 3 ships, I was done for the day, tomorrow, I'll make it. So tomorrow came and i had explode on impact landings one after the other. After watching multiple Mun landing tutorials, I headed back to the VAB. An hour later, I landed on the Mun safely. I made Adnie jump out then realized i forgot ladders to get him back up and somehow managed to get him stuck between the lander engine and escape engine... since then, I've made 3 or so more successful landings and put in ladders... That weekend, I became an astrophysicist. Thank you Squad!

Lol, thanks for that, I'm pretty sure The KSB is like the Russian secret service, right? lol and i might, once i get my own computer, hopefully sometime in the next few months.

Ah that first day with KSP, you do so little but you have so much fun. Of course you came at a great time with EVA's and two moons with planets on the way, all I had was a booster, the large 1m LFE, the 1 meter tank, and no RCS or SAS!/Old man rant

From your post it sounds like you're still in school? If rocketry is interesting to you and you want to learn more about it, I highly recommend you take every math class you can get your hands on from this point onward.

And tell your classmates about KSP! I've shown it to all of my friends who are teachers. Microsoft Flight Simulator led me down the aviation rabbit hole when I was a kid. KSP will do the same for many others.

Thanks for the welcome guys, and I'm currently a Freshman in high school and am in Eng II Honors, AP human Geo, Bio 1 Honors, And Algebra II Honors. So I dont really have time between homework and ROTC rifle team to play any game...
