The Dressian Exploder
Looking at the cinematic trailer, the different Kerbals have different coloured helmets, and the Spaceplane on the Duna ship was made of 3 MK2-looking fueselages, that were red-coloured, so does this mean we'll be able to recolour parts? Tell me what you think Edited August 23, 2019 by The Dressian Exploder

Tell me what you think I was thinking about this. There's only two possibilities I can think of. 1) All parts have multiple textures we can switch on demand in the VAB/SPH Or 2) There is a in editor painting tool
DunaManiac
maybe it could be some kind of in-game texture replacer?
pschlik
It seems quite likely that we will have full control over changing the color of our parts, seemingly including the ability to leave them unpainted (shiny clean metal is the best paint job). And it also seems each part can have a primary color and an accent color, so there’s even more ways to mix it up. For example, red Orion with white accents... And then another Orion (appears to be a larger size), but blue/white instead. Of course, the trailer shows yet more paint options, but those two shots are actually in game. That makes me pretty confident that this wasn’t just some stuff to make the trailer look pretty, but that it’s actually a feature. I do love the idea of making everything colorful... I’m curious to see more details on this. Edited August 23, 2019 by pschlik
