Popular Scifi Aliens with the best and worst nursing homes

i find this to be a potentially amusing subject. Tell me who has the worst and best potential nursing home for aged humans. 

 

Would you send your parent there? Or someone else? What would happen to them? Would you wanna go there?

 

 

Options: Klingon. Vulcan. Ferengi. Cardassian. Romulan.

 

Take your pick and discuss.

Only aliens from the forehead/ears-of-the-month club? Tough one, but logically a Vulcan nursing home would be the best choice. 

But if you open it up to other universes, Kzinti would have to be the worst choice. They’d just be waiting to eat the ones who are about to die, and would probably hasten the decline.

Vulcans can be boring and won't even smile. They would make residents depressed. Klingons do smile, but they may be a bit too tough. The female Klingons could be better nurse aides than the males, since they are at least a bit nicer.

 

The Ferengi? That would be interesting to watch. Likely scam the old residents every chance they got, or at least try to to sell them stuff.

 

The Cardassians? Actually they may have pretty good homes. The cardassians, in spite of being known as slave drivers, seem to hold family in high regard.

 

Romulans? I dunno. Loyalty to the state is held at a higher degree than even the cardies. From what I have seen though, it seems as long as you don't offend the state or aren't a spy you won't get poisoned, so all is well then.

 

Am I the only one who finds Klingon nurse aides at a long term care facility positively hilarious? Bab5 may have been better overall, but I still think Trek aliens of TNG and DS9 definitely are more distinct, while Bab5 ones tend to either act human or just really mysterious.

Hire a Klingon nurse and let here oversee and motivate enslaved personnel of any other races.

Kanamits would be even worse.  They'd have no use for aged ones, and would cull the herd.
