PPD-F412 Hydroponics module experiment doesnt work?

Hi, i recently installed many mods and i found a new science part, the Hydroponics module.

It says a plant observation experiment can be done, but for testing, i built a vessel, just a command module and the hydroponics, with 2 scientists inside i, but no experiment was available.

Am i missing something? is it another mod dependent? im thinking this may be the reason.
