KSP does not have axial tilt. KSP 2 did, which would have led to a really accurate RSS/KSRSS, but alas.

dang...i get confused a lot by that. Its ok then, i thought i messed it up somehow.

definitely yes. i'm using TVC, too.

Well, I have encountered the shiny Earth issue again. Fortunately, there have been no more issues with Mars turning grey or pink and stripey, nor has Earth had any of the typical red or green pixely artifacts.

I should note that I am using one of Scatterer's most recent versions, so Volumetric Clouds works. I know there is a conflict between KSRSS and Scatterer 0.8.x, but if I use 0.7.x then clouds don't work. Is there a way to make the clouds work with 0.7? Perhaps downgrading to Volumetric Clouds release 3?

Also, what is TVC (since thrust-vector control doesn't fit this context :D)

TVC = true volumetric clouds, sorry.

Here's the lowdown on KSRSS and Scatterer as I understand it. Prior to the creation of the Reborn branch, KSRSS required scatterer 0.7x (note the lower case). Starting with Reborn, KSRSS became compatible with the current version of Scatterer, which was renamed(ish) to Scatterer and was version 0.8. So Reborn introduced compatibility with current versions of both Scatterer and EVE.

If you are having problems with the Reborn branch and either the released or the volumetric clouds versions of Scatterer or EVE, then the problem is almost certainly your KSRSS installation.  On my system I have a few installations with KSRSS + the Cape + (modern  or historical) + Baikonur + MLP and volumetric clouds.

These are the differences I've seen between my system and people saying they're having issues: I absolutely definitely have the Reborn branch. This is really easy to miss on the Gitlab page. I do not have KSC Switcher installed or the landmasses don't work. I also don't have any of the "64k" texture stuff associated with the previous version of KSRSS, and is incompatible with Reborn (per the authors) even though it's still in the repo. I also don't have CustomBarnKit - it's not actually a technical requirement despite the OP. And lastly, I made sure that Reborn was never installed over top of an existing KSRSS, which would almost certainly break it.

I'll leave you a few screenshots of my GameData folders in the spoiler below in case they're interesting at all. One of these is my 'modern' stuff, another is 'historical', and another is just for making videos.  Hope something here helps!
