Also I'm just gonna dock with it and not move it anywhere. Maybe just set up an inclined solar station by using Eve gravity assists when the launch windows are right.

The asteroid

(It's on ps4, hence why I took a picture with my phone. They don't offer much in terms of moving photos off of it.)

I'm gonna rename this asteroid to the Devil's rock due to it's orbit once I reach it.

@Vezbot if you have the psn apps like the message one you can in theory set up a message to a friend with the image in it and take the image into your phone via the message. At least I think it should work that way. I know i took an image from my phone to my ps4 in the other direction, doing that. Hope that helps in a small way

Thanks for the help! I'll do that to transfer the photos.

The mission ended up being a failure but the initial rendevous was a success. Why a failure? Because the relative speed was 20023 m/s, even with an Eve gravity assist + the 3700 m/s after LKO too. I used ion engines to fine tune the orbits and then burn retrograde at one of the ascending/descending nodes to get that close approach. 

Unfortunately since I had 6k dv in my ion engines and to cancel relative velocity was 20k. I just fine tuned my orbit to cause a collision with the asteroid, killing my astronaut.
