Small ships, nothing.

Large ships, sometimes they vibrate to death. But you have a few seconds to fix it before it's fatal.

The actual bug nicknamed the kraken was fixed years ago. Now people refer to all kinds of bugs as krakens as a sort-of inside joke.

You can actually get some pretty good krakening on a small ship if you have the right (or wrong) ingredients.  In my experience, combining nuclear engines, 1.25m LF tanks, and clipped nose cones can be deadly.
