I can't fire liquid engines

Hello, I can't fire liquid engines. 

When I right-click on the engine at the start, there is no fuel tank there, but I looked at several tutorials and built it, but it didn't work. What should I do?

@Henri Make sure you have a tank with both liquid fuel and oxidiser in it. If you have a tank with only liquid fuel it won't work.

Also, make sure you have a command pod, like a probe core or crewed capsule. If you don't have any control you won't be able to fire the engine anyway

I had this problem when I started with KSP. I still remember it. Try pressing Z for 100%. If you need to, press X for 0%. Use the left shift to power up and the left control key to power down.
