Infinite "Waiting for launch scenario" loading screen. Freezed!

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, I'm playing KSP 1.9.1, heavly modded. Recently, the game started to freeze in the loading screen, at prelaunch, just after editing the vessel at VAB. Sometimes this happens, others it doesn't , only if I remove any mod, and load again the game, it doesn't freeze, but after I close it and open the game again, the problem happens. So I do the same, I remove another mod, restore the previous one, and it works again. What could it be? Thank you.

Hello and welcome to the forums. Can you take a look at this please:

Ideally you should supply the game logs and a list of mods that you're using as this will make it substantially more likely that someone can find the source of the problem.

Are you using the right versions of all your mods for 1.9.1? A considerable number aren't updated for it yet, most notably Kopernicus which is required for most (all?) planet packs. Try deleting the module manager configcache and sha files before launching the game next time and see if that helps.

Hi, thanks for the advice. I forgot to mention that the same crafts I design in the career mode VAB (when the game get freezed), I can fly them without problem in sandbox mode. My mods are up to date. I don't use Kopernicus or any other planet pack. I don't know if it could be the RAM (4gb).

Thank you again.

If you post the logs as described in the link @jimmymcgoochie provided, we can get to digging through them and offer some help.

The RAM could be an issue, 4gb is very tight for a modded game.

Also be careful that you are not trying to load a ship that contains a mod part from a mod you just removed.

I second what @Gargamel said, 4GB is pretty low for running stock KSP 1.9.1 and mods will almost always increase the RAM usage while the game is running. Interesting that the same rockets will work in sandbox mode but not career, that sounds to me like you have a mod that's interfering with the career-based launch process- a full list of mods would be really helpful to see if any look like obvious candidates.

Thanks! I will do it. Actually I'm testing them one by one or so. I just noticed after closing and opening the game a few times with this problem, the main loading screen get freezed at "Verifying Expansion: Breaking Ground Squad Expansion/Serenity.

Hello! I'm sorry for the waiting. I've solve the problem, you guys were right about mods. Routine Mission Manager is the responsable.

Thank you all for the help!
