Checked on my 2ndary installation gyro are gone despite files are still present

I just checked on versoin 1.5.3.1 and 1.5.4, I don't see the gyroscopes on either.  I went back to 1.5.3 and then they showed up.

No idea why yet, the parts didn't change, th change  from 1.5.3 to 1.5.3.1 was a simple internal change.

No, just fixed it and published the update

New release

1.5.4.1

  • Fixed NullRef in the CactEyeGyro module, causing the gyros to not be there

Update is available via CKAN as well

The mod is fun. But I got a question, not sute if it's a bug. Anybody nows if it works with parallax continued and volumetrics clouds? This 2 mod changes the textures and what you see from orbit. It makes planets looks more detailed but when I use the telescope, where the planet is suposed to be there is a hole. Could it be becouse parallax or the volumetric clouds?

Im gonna try removing distant object enhancement, just to try.

Sorry the image wasn't public. Not it is.

And I removed parallax continued and it still looks the same. Gonna try without scaterer and post it here:

And without scatterer looks the same, and empty void.

Found the problem. It's becouse of Deferred. I installed it when I installed volumetric clouds. Not sure if this has any way of fixing it.

Do you want me to make bug report on githhub about this?

Edit: I'm opening an issue, just in case you want to fix it.

Nothing I can do about that, sorry.    Contact the Deferred author about it

Need more information.  How do you know it chagned to a normal telescope?  (I never used space dust, no idea what it does)

Using Space Dust and Cacteye together creating this issue, because reskin of cacteye telescope, got same filename and pathing as SpaceDust Telescope. Best solution was removing space dust folder from Cacteye

Ok, I see the problem.  Your fix is the correct solution, I'll update the files to deal with this situation.  Removing the directory actually removed two parts, but you only needed to remove one.  I'll release an update later today.

What happened to the large telescope? Only the small one is popping up?

Do you have Spacedust installed?

If you have Spacedust installed, the telescope has been renamed (the internal name is unchanged), the new name is (from SpaceDust mod):  PT-EDW1N Spectral Telescope
