SENTINEL Contract - What the hell?

Now the contract specifically states asteroids will be detected "passively". To me, this means I should have to do NOTHING. but wait.   No going to the tracking station and actively tracking things.  If so then the person that wrote the contract needs to go to a dictionary and look up the word PASSIVELY!

Well, are you sure you’re going the right direction?   This is the answer to 99% of orbital contract issues.  it’s an easy thing to miss.   
 

As mentioned to you in another thread, a far far greater number of people confirm that it does, in fact, work just fine.  
 

You’re also using a number of mods, remove all those and confirm this doesn’t work in stock before stating as such.    Post the logs so we can get more info if so.    A screen shot of the contract and orbital info would help.
