Technically a rocket. My replica Me-163 Komet. And for once I do not have to change a letter into a K to Kerbalize it, that's what it was called in German :).

My next submission in the category "technically a rocket", my replica of Blue Flame, a rocket-powered car that set the land speed record in 1970. Powered by a Vector engine and with minimal fuel on board, my Blue Flame replica reaches about the same speed as the original (about 1015 km/h or 282 m/s), with sufficient runway remaining to come to a stop.

How does a 'Das Marsprojekt' mission sound?  It doesn't.. it's space!

Well anyways, this is the vonBraun mission using nukes and a big stack of hardware to Mars, and yes Venus (on the way home).

Although I did the Saturn V a long time ago and it didn't work because I didn't know about advanced settings and that's why the 
rocket got out of control when I flew it, other than that I don't think it worked. for me, since I don't know how to do the coupling

This construction is part of the SLS Block 1 rocket that I am making, I am already advancing the second stage of the rocket, but I will delay a little in the part of the solar panels When I finish this rocket I will be uploading it to the forum

Thanks, and the wait is over.  

It gets a bit silly, to make something of an appropriate scale, it ends up with far too much power in the lower stages, in the original configuration, orbit would be achieved shortly after the boosters separated, with the core stage having enough deltaV left on orbit for a TMI.

For the actual Mun mission, I flew with less than half fuel on the boosters, core  and third stage and swapped out the mainsails for skippers, still over powered.

I was quite pleasanly surprised by how well the landing gear actually worked, I have had bad experiences with this sort of thing before, an earlier test flight of a more basic version of the lander got me this lovely shot

Certainly not the first to make an Atlas V, but I think they're rather fun to build in KSP and have it set up for various configurations.  Normally I do Atlas V-like, with booster options of 2, 4, or 6 because it keeps the COT in a good place, but this time tried to keep it closer to the real thing.

The Katless V!

 

Like the Atlas V, can be launched with 0-5 boosters, has one or two engines on the upper stage, and three fairing options.  Small, Large, and None.  The craft is set up so that all options are present when you load it, so you just remove what you don't need.  This keeps it as a single craft file, and you don't need to worry about staging (except when you add a payload, if it has stagables).  Also comes with a Karliner-ish capsule.

 

Only mods installed at the time of construction were VAB Re-orienter and RealPlume
