2 different sensitivities for the cursor and maneuver node maker.

Recommended Posts

What the title says.

I like a medium-speed cursor, so I leave my sensitivity at about 40. But when i'm doing fine adjustments in maneuver nodes, I have to turn it all the way down to 5, resulting in a veeeeeery slow cursor. I think having 2 different sensitivities for the cursor and maneuver node maker would benefit the game very positively. That's all

You can also "push" the opposite marker (on the maneuver node) for finer adjustments.
- When trying to add prograde:prograde: to the maneuver node, you usually pull on prograde:prograde:. Just push on retrograde:retrograde: to add velocity in the prograde direction

There is also the maneuver node gizmo in the bottom left of the map screen (i think you have to click on the purple rocket mode or something). There you will find more controls for
maneuver nodes, as well as a very powerful sensitivity slider, it allows adjustments of less than 0.1m/s

It took me a long time to find this, but it is very useful, I use it all the time now.  I highly recommend using this tool.

The maneuver node gizmo was only released a few versions ago, it's quite "new" in terms of KSP features. So it's easy to miss if the other techniques have always worked fine, i only read it in the update/changelogs and was mindblown
