That'll be a major challenge. The studio cockpit was way bigger than the actual Eagle pilot unit.

I can and I will. I don't enjoy doing it, and I try as much as possible to make it work with only stock and stock DLC required, so no fancy working props like the ones that use outside mod resources. Just some stock ones for functionality. If someone wants to build a mod with those to use with what I have put out, that is fine by me.

As to the cockpit. I have looked at a video on YouTube showing the rebuild they did for the 50th anniversary. In it the guy has a new CGI cockpit that fits with the actual dimensions. So I will build one like that, rather than the original which doesn't match.

Reworked the buggy. I have widened it to fit 2 Kerbals. Funny thing is that the original on the show was there because the guy who built and sold them in real life knew someone and managed to get them on the show as a form of advertising. They were only built for 1 person but the show crammed in 2. Made it as wide as I felt I could get away with without having to lengthen it. Works just for the slimline helmets. Original helmets will ruin the illusion. I plan to build some new tyre wheels for it too.

New wheels done. I think these look closer to the originals. Balloon tyres on the Moon, go figure. Made me realise I have a few adjustments more to make on the buggy.

Ok Re-rebuilt the buggy. Some changes are very subtle, like the bottom is more like the original now. Added some decals, different bumper, fixed some missing textures which I noticed previously.

Here is the old and my new side by side. @Martian Emigrant, I know it has been a long time, but since it was you who first introduced me to the buggy,I thought you might be interested.

I am slowly building the internal for the Eagle. I got thinking about air filled tyres in no atmosphere and decided to build 2 airless alternatives, based on what I think you would need in regolith. May be hard to see what they actually look like in the pics, but first has lots of octogons and second has lots of hexagons. They are both metal frame type so regolith can fall through and not clog, but have plenty of bite to get you up loose material.

The reason I don't enjoy making internals, is that this guy named Murphy likes to demonstrate this law he came up with everytime I build one. Also even with the .mu in Blender 4.0 it really is a chore to place props. But a couple of days later, with a few tweaks to go, I have this. I hope you like it.

As you can see you can achieve orbit from inside with instruments.
