Neptunium_69
I just started playing the game and I’m having trouble flying to orbit, any tips and instructions?
Vanamonde
It just so happens that I made a guide for this sort of thing. I haven't updated it for a long time but it should still be helpful. Also, welcome to the forum.
Aerodynamic Kerbal
So, for beginners, you should lower the throttle a bit and turn 45° until apoapsis is over 70km. I recommend 80km the best. Then either make a maneuver node at apoapsis to get you in a circular orbit. Then from the SAS options, turn to the blue maneuver node marker, next to stability assist. Burn at half the burn time before the node. For example: You should burn for 40 seconds, so you should start your burn at T-20 seconds before you reach the node. Or you can burn prograde a little before apoapsis.

Vanamonde
Great feeling, isn't it? Now you can just sit there and watch the terrain roll by.
