Are there any addons that improve EVA Construction?

Maybe I don't really understand EVA construction but for the most part I find it a pain in the ass, namely that I can't even place parts half the time as they're permanently redded out from some kind of clipping error, yet I can sometimes place them in insane locations that are clearly clipped. Are there any mods that free constraints on EVA construction?

I think Kerbal Attachment System + Kerbal Inventory System are still working. Though they don't improve the game's construction mode, they introduce a new system, as they were around way before we got EVA construction mode.

Well SimpleConstruction! (SCON) might be an option - it exists alongside EVAConstruction - and builds/adds to vessels in situ.

Yeah I like using KAS/KIS in conjunction with stock EVA construction. They both have fairly different control schemes which can be confusing, but KIS has much better angle snapping and handling of multi-part objects, and stock has the ability to use offset and rotate tools on already placed parts.
