Green Orbits

Yes, I created an account just for this.

Everytime I try to launch a rocket, the tracking station always shows my orbit as a green/yellow color and not blue like what most online tutorial show, I can't set any object as a target, and I can't add maneuver nodes. I tried to use the little maneuver button on the right side of the screen, but it says my orbital inclination is too high, I've tried launching some other rockets in sandbox mode with different orbital inclinations, but still, all my orbits are the yellow/green color. Anyone have any idea how to fix this issue?

If you are playing a career save you will need to upgrade the tracking station before you get all of the course prediction indicators, but that wouldn't explain a green line. Do you have mods installed? Is it perhaps showing an orbit that is a contract objective?

I don't think you can get contracts in sandbox? And I don't have any mods installed.

Can you post a screenshot?

F1 will take an in-game screenshot.  It's then saved inside a folder called Screenshots inside your KSP folder.  You can then upload the picture to a site like imgur, and share the link to the picture here.  The forum itself will not host images.

I have a few questions:

Are you trying to make Maneuver Nodes and target other objects from within the Tracking Station window?  If so, that is not possible.  

To set Maneuver nodes or track objects, you need to actually be flying your ship.  While flying your ship, go to Map mode, usually by pressing 'M'.  From there you should be able to set maneuvers and select object to target.

The reason the orbit path is yellow in the Tracking Station screen is because you have selected that ship in the TS.  If you go back to the TS and select the other item in the list (an asteroid in your screenshot..), the orbit path of your ship should change to white.  Also, view will likely change to be centered on the asteroid's path.

Glad we could help, that's what the forums are for!  Speaking only for myself, most of the questions I'm capable of answering are issues where I have done the exact same thing myself.  So don't feel bad!
