(Second Stage engine mount from BDB).

Amazing stuff! Can't wait for the rest of the Jupiter parts.

If you return to your alternate history, will you add this to the timeline, or is it too late

Yes, I believe there will be cutouts sized for Apollo and Orion.

Can you also make a 3.75m Shuttle C strongback and jettisonable fairing too?

Edit: And also cutouts in the Shuttle C nosecone for Orion, Multi-Role Capsule, and Apollo? (The latter 2 would probably be the same)

No I will not be making a 3.75m Shuttle-C strongback and fairing. I will be making a 5m Shuttle-C part set that will include cut outs or Orion, MRC, and Apollo.

I'd rather prefer 3.75m because that's (I believe) the maximum diameter of the MK3 parts.

Isn't 5m the same diameter as the ET?

3.75m is too close to 3.125m. 5m is the same diameter as the ET.

There are many, many real Shuttle-C proposals that have a payload shroud that size. See below:

In other news...Jupiter comanifested payload fairings are available on Github!

I friggin love brief eyecandy like these when an update for a mod like this comes out. Absolutely makes my day :D

But, how do you both mount the RS-25s so perfectly that? When I try to SDLV mount, the white shrouds on the engines slightly overhang the adapter and always clip through the small shroud at the edges?

Do you tweakscale the engines or something? There are no tweakscale configs for the shroud in this mod or Benjee's RS-25 from ACK by default.

Use the SSMEs from RMM not ACK.

I'd just use the stock Vector engine if I were you.

Download RMM. Use the RM-69 "Cotopaxi". Don't use the stock or ReStock Vector; it is undersized and not configured for ORANGES parts. The RMM SSME is the right engine,

Ohhhh thanks, I wish I knew about that mod sooner!
That also explains why the SSME plumes looked so different in @Kuiper_Belt's and other threads compared to my own thread, I'm an idiot :P

Also this is too late but I CANNOT exaggerate how much I loved the Jupiter DIRECT rockets and how much potential they held, and how sad I am that none of them flew :(.
I still do not understand why NASA decided to design and build the SLS instead of the Jupiter launch vehicles

But regardless, thank you and all the other devs so much for making this fantastic mod so we can use these amazing launch vehicles :D

Could I use the ReDIRECT Rainstorm?

And also for the SRBs I just use the ones from ReDIRECT.

Also, what is RMM?

While we wait for the rest of the Jupiter rocket parts, what parts folder in BDB is that engine mount in?

I need it for... reasons. ;)
