Easy challenge ion Moho

Very simply land on Moho using only ion engines.  You may alt-12 to Moho orbit.  A pure retrograde burn doesn't work, you'll need to balance your vertical speed, but its not too hard.

Have you done the challenge yourself, Is the challenge possible, is it a good challenge or just "angle your craft the right way"

Yes, Bradley Whistance performed an Ion engine landing on Moho once.

I am very sure you are trying to undermine challenges that involve piloting skills here.

I have done it but failed to get a screenshot.  My craft had a TWR if about 1.1 in Moho gravity, which made it fun.  Solar panels work great on Moho, so batteries and other weight can be minimized.

Hi.

I have landed Kerbals on the Mun with Ions (And brought them back) so Moho should be relatively easy.

I'll look into it.

I have done the challenge with a basic ion powered lawn chair.

About balancing the "Vertical speed". The descent is a gravity turn reversed.

If you can't slow down fast enough then you are starting the descent at to low an altitude.

 

I chose (After doing two tests) 25,000 m for my orbit.

 

Started my descent on the sun facing side to allow sunshine all the way down and all the way up.
