Leg Room

Habitation Module

Flown by Starship Super Heavy and Aardvark Orion

The Lunar Gateway Habitation module joins LSISS. The Habitation was launched aboard Starship Super Heavy and was tugged by Aardvark Orion.

Also, my pics will be darker in some shots from now on. I went and got Blackrack's Volumetric Clouds and am using their TUFX profile.

New teaser, since Shuttle-C 5m seems to not like my payload and explodes every time it goes to deploy... like, it's not even that big of a payload! You can clearly see it's nowhere near the walls! But the top shell keeps colliding somehow with the payload! Ugh...

Go Go Juice

ESPIRIT Module

Flown by Aardvark Orion and Shuttle-C

ESPIRIT is launched aboard a shuttle-C, ESA contracting NASA for the launch. Ariane 6 will launch a NASA payload instead of ESPIRIT.

(BTW, I'm trying to decide between which HLS to use. Starship HLS or Lockheed Martian HLS. Any thoughts?)

I think you should use Lockheed Martin. I like the use of all these concept launch vehicles.

Enter the Void

ROSS Module 2, 3 and 4

Flown by Progress and Angara A7

ROSS Modules 2 (Basically Prichal), 3 (Basically an extended Pirs) and 4 (Science airlock module kind of like Nauka, but way less bulky) added to LSISS. Decided to do all three modules in one launch.

Lock The Air In

Lunar Gateway Airlock

Flown by Aardvark 2 Tug and SRB-X 4/3/T2/CG'

Lunar Gateway Airlock added to LSISS. This technically completes the International side. I'll add Dragon-XL, HTV-X and Orion off screen.

Just finished binge reading; awesome thread dude!!! :D If only I could add more reactions today
I LOVE the chaotic nature of it; tons of SDLVs and other awesome launchers/spacecraft all flying and operating together to build and service gigantic space stations. It really makes me ponder what space exploration could be today if NASA had FIVE PERCENT more of the US military's budget ;.;

I feel heavily inspired to do some things now... But in my stock install for now as my KSRSS install is under repair; the solar system won't load

Final Approach

ROSS Module 7

Flown by Angara A7B

With the delivery of ROSS Module 7, the LSISS is complete! I'll be adding Orion, Orel, Dragon XL and HTV-X to the station in the next few days. Afterwards, I'll consider this project complete.

So... I was planning on doing Dragon-XL launch tonight... but my laptop decided to die on me. I plan on taking it to a repair shop to hopefully get it fixed, but if they can't, it might be a while before I can finish adding the spacecraft.

Might just call the project finished if they can't fix it. I don't have the money for a new laptop.

The gold on behind the station modules? That's the Lockheed Martian HLS. It's apart of Benjee10's Artemis Construction Kit.

Yes , that was exactly, what i meant.

Thanks a lot (downloading), appreciate very much your superfast reply!!!

So, repair shop couldn't fix my laptop since they would have had to replace the motherboard, which essentially the same price as a new laptop. So, I just going to have to get a new laptop. Idk when that will be. The ones I'm looking at are like 3600 to 4000.

Like is hardly an appropriate reaction.

Sorry about your PC. Does this mean the end of the thread, or just a really long hiatus on it?

The guys were able to clone the data to an external drive, so I have the save file. I'll be able to continue it on my desktop, just it will be a while between posts.

Another update. The laptop is due to arrive today! So, expect this to continue in a week... maybe two. Assuming all is well with the laptop, which fingers crossed, hopefully it is.

And for those wondering, this is what I got: [2023] ASUS ROG Strix G17 G713PI 17.3" WQHD 240Hz, 2.5 GHz Ryzen 9 7945HX, RTX 4070, 64 GB DDR5 RAM, 1 TB PCIe SSD, Windows 11 Home - Newegg.com

Manufacture: ASUS
System Integrator: HIDevolution US
CPU: Ryzen 9 7945HX (Going to be honest, I'm an Intel fanboy, but with the 13th/14th generation degradation issues... I wanted to avoid that. I already have a 13th gen desktop, and yes, I have updated the BIOS, so hopefully it will last until my next upgrade. But yeah. I've head AMD before, in like Wally World bought computers, but nothing gaming level. This will be my first AMD gaming machine)
GPU: Nvidia 4070 (Thought about going 4080, but it was just too much money imo. Besides, my old laptop was a 2070. The 4070 is basically a 2090 in terms of performance, so leaps ahead of the 2070 I was rocking.)
Screen: 17.3 inch IPS 240hz 2560x1440 (Yep, Quad HD)
Memory: 64 GB DDR5 4800 Ghz (MODS! MOAR MODS! Wish it were faster though, might upgrade it to faster down the line)
Storage: 1TB NVME M.2 SSD (Might stick my old laptop's M.2 in it as well for a total of 2 TB)
OS: WIndows 11 Home (Ugh, wish it were Windows 10, but what you going to do, right?)

Dang, that’s a nice computer! I’ve never exactly trusted ASUS, but I thinkI just had a bad computer. If you have graphics and a CPU that powerful, are we maybe going to see improved visual mods?

I run the visual mods maxed already, lol. Not sure how to improve them.

And I've had nothing but good stuff from ASUS (knock on wood).

You probably just lost the silicon lottery. It happens. ASUS is the top brand imo. Though, I might just be bias lol.
