Looks like a Stargate, but the game is too 'hard Sci-Fi'. Maybe a Monolith? Something we 'unlock' to find our way to the next one, to unlock interstellar travel?

I saw a different mun arch in a picture as well (not just boring rock, like the recent KSP one)

actually, my mistake, just poor lighting.
